Mo Anderson is a self employed goldsmith, designer, and creative consultant with over 25 years experience. Mo's client list ranges from local jewelers in the high-end jewelry market to world renowned companies including Tiffany & Co. (for whom he is the only approved vendor in the Southwest Florida area), DeBeers, Omega, Ferragamo, and Tourneau.
Mo also designs jewelry for individual buyers in the Naples area. Mo’s work is represented by Florida Craftsman Gallery in St Petersburg, FL. “If you can imagine it, I can create it.” |
Mo was for many the principal tubist with the Naples Philharmonic for many years. His jewelry exemplifies his solid grounding in the arts, translating his sense of rhythm, tempo and lyricism from the musical to the visual, and bringing to his craft the precision and attention to detail required of a classical musician.
Through workshops and personal study, Mo has mastered the traditional methods of fabrication, stone setting, casting, design and most recently 3D CAD design. When clients express the desire, Mo is able to incorporate the advantages of cutting-edge 3D computer modeling and printing technologies into his design and crafting processes. Mo developed his skills through years of determination and hard work.
"I enjoy blending elements of tradition with those of art jewelry to create a bit of the unexpected. I am interested in finding connections between materials and the customer. I often allow the stones and customers’ design ideas to influence design and construction. This synthesis of influence can lead to the creation of something unique and rewarding for both the owner and the designer.
From fabrication and stone setting to wax carving and casting, I have accepted the challenge of learning all aspects of jewelry creation. Personal pride ensures each piece I make is finished to perfection. Work with me and together we will make something beautiful!"
